Lauren Schuler Donner spills the beans on Deadpool and X Men first class….
Well, she doesn’t totally give it away but again provides some neat bits of information in a recent interview where she talks about plans for both films.
According to Schuler, Ryan Reynolds has been working closely with the screen writers from Deadpool and the earliest signs of things getting off the ground are next year 2011. Reynolds will be playing the part of Deadpool as Wade Wilson and was energised by the fact that she says the public are going to absolutely love the film.
X Men First Class, filming starts as early as August 2010 and in London. They apparently have raised the targets on the actions scenes. During the interview, she was asked about which particular set piece she was excited about – her reply was yes she was excited and that it’s great to be working back with Bruyan Singer and Mathew Vaughn. She somewhat confirmed that Michael Fassbender will play Magneto but is hesitant about saying it right out. There will be many more castings coming very soon, so watch this space for more excitement.

Bryan Singer to return to the X Men Franchise
Monday, February 15th, 2010
It has been revealed….at last talented Bryan Singer is to return to the X Men Franchise with X Men first Class. He revealed this to Heat Vision and emparted a little of the storyline too. Historically Bryan Singer made his mark directing the movie X Men. He then left to make Superman Returns and his fans have been waiting for a return ever since. He had ended up coming back to X Men after Tom Rothman (Fox co-chairman) and him concluded a deal. He refused to tell the total story but did say that the intriguing storyline will be about how the x men came to be and particularly the details of that frayed relationship between a young Xavier and Magneto. He went on to add: “We have always looked at different projects to do together, but the timing was never right to do something like this. But now, it's been about 10 years since the first "X-Men," and this is a nice opportunity to look back at the origins of that universe.” He also concluded that he believed that the X Men universe was indeed boundless and that as young characters, the x men characters are quite different than how we have seen them in contemporary movies. So, there you have it…..interesting times ahead. At X Men toys HQ, we are thrilled with the fact that Bryan Singer is returning as this makes for more great movies and intriguing storylines…….the challenge really is can he direct better than the original X Men movie to pull out of the hat an exceptional X Men first Class movie? tell us what you think, we would just love to know…..

X Men Movie Update – X Men Magneto?
Sunday, November 15th, 2009
It would seem that the X Men Origins Magneto is quite a risky affair. As we know x men origins is all about taking a trip through memory lane to the younger lives of the x men. The childhood of Magneto is set amongst concentration camps and that his thirst for justice turned into bitterness and revenge. Could it be that this storyline is too far controversial? What do you think? The team behind the xmen franchise are still actively looking at how they proceed forward. Currently being discussed is X Men:First class, a new breed of super heroes that will expand the x men series even further or do they continue along a path where they do the origins film with wolverine 2 or other characters such as Magneto, Storm etc…There is also talk of the deadpool spin off reemerging. Whatever the decisions are moving forward, we would be delighted to see a two pronged attack. So, new movies such as X Men: First class alongside the web of intrigue that lies within every x men characters past? We would absolutely love to see the origins movie take the origins movie one step further to have us explore the more shadier pasts of Magneto and others and cannot wait till an official statement is released telling us which of these tantalizing tales is going to be represented on the big screen…….Watch this space for more….
