Director and Producer Lauren Schuler talks about a new X-men Movie
Breaking News: X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, X-Men First Class and Deadpool : Lauren Schuler on all three – a must read!
Empire Magazine jumped at the opportunity to discuss the next x men movies with Director and producer Lauren Schuler. She shared some golden nuggets of information on X-Men Origins : Wolverine 2, X-Men, First Class, Deadpool and Magneto – all of which have been in the frame for the next movie – but which is likely to be out first?
Well, it seems that the furthest developed is the next X-Men Origins : Wolverine 2 . This focuses on the relationship between Wolverine and Mariko, the daughter of a Japanese crime lord. Hugh Jackman is headed off to Japan currently to shoot on location. She said “Wolverine will be fighting in a different style from before” and the sequel is said to include plenty of martial arts moves too. How exciting, when we heard this we couldn’t wait to see something a little different from the x men series. It certainly is a big gamble that will just add to the variety of flavours that encompasses the x men.
Lauren also touched on X-Men : First Class which will feature Professeur Xaviers School of Mutant mastery. The script is being written as we speak by Josh Schwartz. For X Men first class Bryan Singer has been rumoured to making his comeback to the X Men franchise.
Schuler also touched on the Deadpool movie. Here she had the opportunity to express her support for Ryan Reynolds although admittedly she did say that he is no Harrison Ford…Fox is still in the process of engaging writers for this and therefore Deadpool seems like the least developed.
So, that is the latest news from the X-Men scene. Our bet , now has changed, we believe first X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, the X Men: First Class, then Deadpool …..what do you think?
