Bryan Singer to return to the X Men Franchise
Monday, February 15th, 2010
It has been revealed….at last talented Bryan Singer is to return to the X Men Franchise with X Men first Class. He revealed this to Heat Vision and emparted a little of the storyline too. Historically Bryan Singer made his mark directing the movie X Men. He then left to make Superman Returns and his fans have been waiting for a return ever since. He had ended up coming back to X Men after Tom Rothman (Fox co-chairman) and him concluded a deal. He refused to tell the total story but did say that the intriguing storyline will be about how the x men came to be and particularly the details of that frayed relationship between a young Xavier and Magneto. He went on to add: “We have always looked at different projects to do together, but the timing was never right to do something like this. But now, it's been about 10 years since the first "X-Men," and this is a nice opportunity to look back at the origins of that universe.” He also concluded that he believed that the X Men universe was indeed boundless and that as young characters, the x men characters are quite different than how we have seen them in contemporary movies. So, there you have it…..interesting times ahead. At X Men toys HQ, we are thrilled with the fact that Bryan Singer is returning as this makes for more great movies and intriguing storylines…….the challenge really is can he direct better than the original X Men movie to pull out of the hat an exceptional X Men first Class movie? tell us what you think, we would just love to know…..
